Dhimmitude at Chicago's De Paul University came to national attention last year with the dismissal of Adjunct Professor Thomas Klocek, a part-time instructor who was fired for the grave offense of 'offending' a group of ever-so-sensitive Muslim students.  Knowing this and aware of the hundreds of millions in Petrodollars at stake,  the Creeping Saudi Da'wa at DPU comes as no surprise but the Editorial ala news article on Page 2 of the DePaulia student newspaper of September 22, 2006 was a real shock to this 1976 De Paul Alumni.  Coming in the same week that an Islamofascist 'cleric' threatened to behead the Holy Father as Muslim mobs demanded his blood while the fearless Mujahideen of Iraq marked the start of Ramadan by murdering 39 women and children this silly exercise in mental masturbation is an insult.

America's Number One Catholic University devoted and entire page to explaining the importance of Ramadan to Muslims while oozing political correctness and blithely ignoring Islamofascist atrocities across the globe.  Author MicHadese Stoffel even heaps praise on the Iftars offered by De Paul/s Muslim Student Association.  This is background on that association from DiscoverTheNetworks:

MSA is right at home here in Chicago since they tacitly endorse the agendas of the Marxist-Leninist Workers World Party which dominates their American sponsor ANSWER and still speaks fondly of the Haymarket Riots. Believe it or not, we still have a lot of old time Wobblies (Illinois Workers of the World) wandering around in the Windy City due to the city's still strong labor union movement  - I had dinner with one in Chicago's Uptown just last week who was waxing eloquent about the Communist Manifesto.. 

But can you believe this Saudi Wahabbi Dawa, Hamas and Al-Qaeda propaganda at the Nation's Number One Catholic University?

Indeed and it gets ever worse as the young dhimmi praises the intense Qur'ran study undertaken during this "Holy" Month by Muslim students.  DePaulia does not seem to know or care what these Terrorists in Training are actually studying.  Here are just a few examples:

Qur'an 5.33 "The recompense for those who fight against Allah and His Messenger and are mischief-makers in the land is only that they be killed or crucified or their hands annd feet be cut off from opposite sides, or be exiled from the land. That is their disgrace in this world, and a great torment is theirs in Hades."

They won't teach this is the new Islamic Studies Major at De Paul but these verse are vital to Islam.

Koran, 8:12. "When your Lord revealed to the angels: I am with you, therefore make firm those who believe. I will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve. Therefore strike off their heads and strike off every fingertip of them."
Ishaq:327 "Allah said, 'A prophet must slaughter before collecting captives. A slaughtered enemy is driven from the land. Muhammad, you craved the desires of this world, its goods and the ransom captives would bring. But Allah desires killing them to manifest the religion.'"
8:35 "And their worship at the (holy) House is naught but whistling and
hand-clapping. Therefore (it is said unto them): Taste of the doom because ye disbelieve."
Ishaq:530 "Get out of his way, you infidel unbelievers. Every good thing goes with the Apostle. I believe in his word. We will fight you about its interpretations as we have fought you about its revelation with strokes that will remove heads and make enemies of friends."
Ishaq:576 "Allah and His servant overwhelmed every coward. Allah honored us and made our religion victorious. We were glorified and destroyed them all. Allah humiliated them in the worship of Satan. By what our Apostle recites from the Book and by our swift horses, I liked the punishment the infidels received. Killing them was sweeter than drink. We galloped among them panting for the spoil.
Ishaq:288 "The Quraysh said, 'Muhammad and his Companions have violated the sacred month, shed blood, seized property, and taken men captive. Muhammad claims that he is following obedience to Allah, yet he is the first to violate the holy month and to kill.'"

Tabari IX:69 "We are Allah's helpers and the viziers of His Messenger. We Fight people until they believe in Allah. He who believes in Allah and His Messenger has protected his life and possessions from us. As for one who disbelieves, we will Fight him forever in the Cause of Allah. Killing him is a small matter to us."
Tabari VII:97/Ishaq:368 "We carried Ka'b's head and brought it to Muhammad during the night. We saluted him as he stood praying and told him that we had slain Allah's enemy. When he came out to us we cast Ashraf's head before his feet. The Prophet praised Allah that the poet had been assassinated and complimented us on the good work we had done in Allah's Cause. Our attack upon Allah's enemy cast terror among the Jews, and there was no Jew in Medina who did not fear for his life.'"
Tabari VII:97 "The morning after the murder of Ashraf, the Prophet declared, 'Kill any Jew who falls under your power.'"

Stoffel concludes this shameful bit of Taqiyya * by stating that "Ramadan is a time for all Myslims 2 to aim to spiritually unite with God" but neglects to warn De Paul's students of their favored method - Bukhari: V1B2N25 "Allah's Apostle was asked, 'What is the best deed?' He replied, 'To participate in Jihad, fighting in Allah's Cause.'"

Since Muslims view martyrdom during Ramadan as the ultimate path to the befuddled brothel of Muslim heaven this is doubly disingenuous.   The ideological despotism of leftists on America's university campuses is now well known but seeing The Saudi Dawa of the Islamofascists was a real shock at my old alma mater.  Knowingly or not, DePaulia has joined the Jihad -  in Arabic- Al-Jihad bi-al-Lisan - which means - Jihad of the Tongue, and al-Jihad bi-al-Qalam - Jihad of the Pen. Both combine for preaching and writing to promote Jihad   The inside page of this issue includes a large graph that depicts the steady progress of the Islamist invasion both worldwide and into the lands of Dar al-Harb. 4

De Paul University used to be a traditional school and was quite proud that it was not considered in the same class as the dope-smoking commies at the University of Chicago, University of Illinois at Circle or Northwestern University in Evanston.  In the years I attended (1970-1976) the School of Music was downtown at the Lewis Center, a primarily commuter campus that was extremely conservative and oriented towards the business and legal communities which made it a far cry from the 'academic' lunacy transpiring at other colleges and universities in the early 1970's.

De Paul University is the number one Catholic University in the country and ir ranked seventh nation wide.  Two years ago there was a lot of talk on campus since a new "Islamic Studies" major had been instituted. 3  Bear in mind that De Paul University, founded by the Vincentian Brothers has traditionally been a haven of Catholic ideals, philosophy and the great academic tradition of the Catholic Teaching Orders. (and a great rival of the Jesuits at Loyola)  During the summer of 2002 at the Lincoln Park Campus, the "Palestinians" (Arabs or whatever else they really are) began to make themselves quite visible.  At one of their first demonstrations (where they actually had a stuffed camel rented and set up in the quad on campus right outside the Richardson Library) they were badly outnumbered by Israeli students proudly displaying the Star of David and Israeli flags and their supporters by a margin of about 30-1 - they obviously remembered this shame, and like good Bedouin warriors plotted their revenge.

By the summer of 2003 the Pro-Arab group had apparently made great inroads and had a large placard mounted outside of the Schmidt Academic Center (known simply as SAC) featuring an article from the Chicago Tribune that sang the praises of some female Muslim "Doctor"  and her renowned Islamic writings. (which is not really saying too much since any Muslim who CAN ACTUALLY READ AND WRITE is considered a 'scholar')  There had been reports of De Paul adopting an "Islamic Studies' major in the papers and I recall joking with a fellow teacher (also from the Music School that is now on the LPC Campus) outside of the library that this 'degree' would be about as useful as my own which is in Music Composition.  I didn't think much of it, but noticed a considerable increase in the number of books on Islam and the Holy Qur'ran in the stacks of the Richardson Library - many of which could be considered quite 'offensive' to these overly 'sensitive' students and nascent academics  - such as:

This brief volume details the use of "Oral Formulas" used widely in the Qur'ran.  The Qur'ran was (and is) widely transmitted orally before any of it was every written down and a heavy emphasis on 'oral' recitation of it is still used in "Fundamental" Islamic 'schools'.  The author details the connections between the "sacred" text of the Qur'ran and common Arab and Middle Eastern folk tales and poses serious questions as to the origins of this 'sacred' work.

The authors are both former members of the NSC and have spent over a decade in US Government (in the White House) service dealing with Terrorism.  Their account of the rise of "Fundamental Islam" in Chapters III and IV and the history of bin Laden and al-Qaeda are beyond equal in today's literature.

The politically correct pedagogy of ignorance employed by these collegiate Islamists and their defenders is surely a far cry from what Father Hinni (the former chaplain of De Paul who taught this student Theology in 1966 and 1967) used to tell us about the teachings of Christ, St. Vincent and his life long concern for the poor in the old academy building at Kenmore and Webster right next to St. Vincent's Church and indeed anathema to the marvelous academic tradition of the Vincentians.  Mayor Richard Daley and the late Mayor Richard J. (The BOSS) are also both DPU alumni  (and Roman Catholic) as are many of Chicago's leading citizens so I'd like to know how they view this Islamofascist Propaganda at one of the finest universities in the nation.

This platitudinous prevarication is truly a disgrace.  The Catholic Germans, Irish, Poles, Italians, immigrants and many Jews spent over a century building De Paul University while the Muslim Community of Chicago did nothing.  Now, as in Euroarabia and all across Europe and England, the Islamists are here and are waging an academic Jihad against anyone who dares speak the truth about their atavistic and violent philosophies and their internecine but perspicacious ideology of subservience, ignorance and hate.

St. Vincent De Paul spent his life working with the poor and  when the St. Vincent De Paul Society and their wonderful volunteers feed  the North Side Homeless breakfast each morning at 8:30 AM in the back of St. Vincent's Church at Sheffield and Webster  while Blessed Brother Leo passes out MacDonald's coupons books to the indigent on the back stairs of the parish rectory the Islamic Charities and these same misanthropic Muslims are nowhere to be found.  What does that tell you?

* An example of "Taqiyya" would be the insistence of a Muslim apologist that "of course"
  there is freedom of conscience in Islam, and then quoting that Qur'anic verse  "There shall be no compulsion in religion." Kitman" is close to "taqiyya," but rather than outright dissimulation, it  consists in telling only a part of the truth  Taqiyya, religious deception, as founded on Qur'an 16:106. (A similar but distinct concept is kitman, which is  akin to mental reservation, and is based on Qur'an 3:28.
